Overview |
|
The
Green Laboratory is a clinical research team dedicated to improving the
lives of individuals with schizophrenia through a better understanding of
cognition associated with this illness. The Green Lab is part of the
Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and the Semel Institute
at The Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and the Department of Veterans
Affairs VISN 22 Mental Illness Research Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC).
Funding for the research projects in the Green Lab come from the National
Institute of Mental Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and private
foundations, including the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia
and Depression, and the Stanley Foundation. All research projects in the Green Lab focus on one, or several of the following themes - COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE & TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH - MODELING & PREDICTING OUTCOME - PSYCHOSOCIAL INTERVENTION - PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGICAL INTERVENTION - SOCIAL COGNITION
